Week of February 26

This week we have finished our comunidad unit and have started the la Día unit. The la Día unit involves describing what you do on a daily basis, such as hobbies, clubs, etc. we will also learn how to tell time in Spanish, and to tell what we are doing at that certain time. Overall I think this will be a very fun unit, and I am excited for what is going to happen in this unit.

As Hana said we just finished our community unit. In this unit we worked on comparing the locations or saying what we are going to do there. On Thursday we started the la dia or the day unit. In this unit we'll learn to talk about our day.

Week of 2/15-19/16

This week in Spanish we worked on our presentation tasks. We also did convo tasks. We got an assigned parter, and we were given a map to talk about, and Sra Kross graded us on how well we communicated. For our presentation tasks we had the option of making a ThingLink an explain everything and using Google maps to make our own map. We explained where places were on the map, and we used IR and ESTAR.

La primera semana de Febrero (the first week of February)

This week we have been wrapping up the unit of estar, practicing all of our vocabulary on places in the community and saying where they are by compass directions and by streets and other places. My highlight of the week was Wednesday and Thursday because we had a bunch of fun stations to go around to that help us with our vocabulary. One station was a quizzes game in which we competed against everyone else in our group trying to get the correct answer in the fastest amount of time. Other stations were hiding Pepe, having a conversation, building a town, and rolling dice. On Friday we had a quiz on the verb estar.
