El Semana del 29 de abril

This week in Spanish, we finalized our learning about this unit in order to have started our presentation task on the 28th. We are currently writing blog posts so that we can share them with our classmates and Señora Kross' other class periods. We are also starting our conversation tasks where we share our day in Spanish with our assigned partner and Sra. Kross.

April 18-21

This week in Spanish class we did many fun things. First, we learned how to use conjugated verbs in sentences with frequencies and times. To do this, we went around and talked in Spanish using these sentences asking our "amigos" what time they did it at and with frequency. We also did more games with frequency and learned how to say all different frequencies. On Wednesday we did a competitive game of Kahoot, to top it off. Overall, this week was great!

In Español class this week, we have been talking more about conjugation and we have started to talk about frequencies. We have done many fun games to learn more. We played heads up seven up and a game of spelling out the frequencies. We have also played on a website called Kahoot.

4-8-16

This week we have learned about conjugating AR verbs. To conjugate the verbs you have to drop the AR and add the ending that fits the subject. For example, if you had yo trabajar, you would take the AR away and add an o to the end. Then it would be yo trabajo. Today, we are starting a project called Latin American Idol.

Time

This week we spent a lot of time doing stations to help us prepare for our comprehension task. The comprehension task is held half way through the unit to see if we understand the Spanish we have been taught. We participated in stations on Monday and Wednesday, because we went on a field trip Tuesday. Some of the stations were creating sentences on whiteboards. You have to roll the dice to see what you need to have in your sentence. Another station was a pre assessment for the next part of this unit. In addition, there was a station for a practice test of the comprehension task. Also, there was a conversation station, in which we talked in Spanish for the whole 8 minuets at the station about things we want, need, or are going to do on Spanish, and what time. Another station was time bingo. Sra. Kross would say a time and you would put a chip over the time if you had it on your board. On Thursday we took our comprehension task, which I thought we needed more time for, than the time given. On Friday we had conversations, took notes, and practiced our new notes using a quizzes app.
